7C Laboratories is a creative marketing agency specialized in pushing boundaries & getting results. Here I get into the nitty gritty of my experience working at a small local agency.

During my time working as a Designer at 7C Laboratories, I’ve worked on a plethora of projects, diving headfirst as an intern into the team and its clientele in 2016. I’ve since gone on to take on clients full time and had the privilege of working with several local names: Blondies Pizza, The Toronto Entertainment District BIA, and The Food Dudes to scratch off a few.

Being the sole designer at a small agency proved to be challenging, but it was not without its rewards. Coming into work everyday was always interesting, wearing as many hats as I did. This pushed me to learn the ins and outs of design incredibly quickly. It was a great opportunity for me to jump right into it, working directly across from our developers and directly communicating with stakeholders and clients.

I was able to work on an incredibly wide variety of projects, from 2D illustration, to motion graphics, rapid mockups and prototyping, A/B testing, photoshoot setups, CRM debugging, you name it.
